EMD or exact match domain name, like personal loan lenders or best credit cards, allow you to build a highly targeted website to try to reach a specific vertical or segment. apparently the new algo, combined with too many anchor friendly links is a red flag in the eyes of google, so you just have to work smarter these days or focus on Bing/Yahoo : )

They seem to still be allowing a ton of spam in the finance verticals, especially payday and cash advance sites that have voted themselves to the top…of course they also now have the very skewed pay to play google comparison section.

Its in their webmaster tools platform, I get the difference between indexing and ranking, google has it indexed…

btw, for those thinking of going into the short term loan, payday loan, cash advance loan, personal loan space DON’T, really its a complete cesspool for blackhat gurus, mostly based in Poland or Russia, go figure…they got the latest algo down to a science with yahoo and bing and do quite well at google, so stay away, even playing on the fringes is tough : )

Update, February 2012 – Bing has indicated site will be indexed in next 30 days, for some reason they had a manual ban on this one, not sure why, when u look at all of the black hat spam in the loan/personalloan/paydayloan search results this is not even on the same planet as most of the black hat garbage they let in…oh well on to greener pastures..

I love rebates and rewards, and I am not a huge fan of insurance companies, so a chance to jump on health insurance rebates made sense! I updated my balance transfer deals for January of 2012 blog with a cool offer from discover, if you are carrying a balance than this could save you a few hundred in the new year! Seems like most projects for the new year will  have similar themes, saving money, tips, financial help and ways to try and get ahead. Certainly the cynic in me does not believe that the government is going to pave the way for my financial freedom anytime soon, gotta hustle, also got a few new domains that I am working to build out, discount home, news channel and get rich here, not sure where they are going but should be fun in 2012!
